You search the rest of the ground floor for medical gear. You find more basic medical supplies--bandaids, cotton, more suturing equipment--but nothing spectacular. You also grab some detergent from the laundry room, and spray everyone down with lemon deodorizer. You're not sure if the creatures in the basement will rely on smell like the one huge door render did, but it's better to be safe than sorry.

You ask Michelle about procuring a melee weapon. "What, for me? Pfftt. Look at this gun, blondie. If I run outta bullets, I'm just gonna beat somebody with this gun. Worse comes to worst, I ain't afraid to go MMA on a twelve foot monster. Punchin' the devil would put a check on my bucket list."

You suggest checking the cafeteria. Dr. Finch scoffs a little. "I mean, we certainly could... but have you eaten in there? I think the restroom is better supplied than our cafeteria. It's not even food. I wouldn't feed it to these monsters, let alone other humans.

They don't even have silverware. It's plastic. This is a hospital, for goodness sake."

Would there be any possibility of staff members hiding in there? I mean, Dr. Finch hid in the laundry room for... who knows how long.

If the food is that bad could you weaponize it?

Bad tasting food is better than no food, Dr. Finch. I mean hey, the past patients lived through it lol
