You tell the tradesmen, in depth, about your various encounters with Nil. You specifically highlight having to cut out memories to get rid of him, and how you still haven't gotten one of those memories back. You don't mention it, but you... hope they might give you a freebie, and mention a way around that issue.

"Arvin Carpenter believes you may be hiding in a Zone Fifty bunker, but does not have enough information to follow up on that theory. Thale has disregarded the idea outright--he was never able to reach more than a few of the bunkers himself, and doubts that you know more about Zone Fifty than he does. He finds the notion that you could be hiding among Zone Fifty's old assets to be preposterous. Thale refuses to humor Carpenter's suspicions, fearing that they may be a ruse to help Carpenter acquire more power via Zone Fifty's old research. Thus, you are not presently at risk of having your location discovered."

You... thank the tradesmen, and will the ritual to end. You feel very tired.

Add to the next round of questions
Are there other bunker networks besides our z50 network? How many? Are they in use? Are vacant ones accessable?

Next time we visit the Tradesmen we should also ask if we can learn how to do these rituals without the exhaustion, if there's a way to 'exercise our magical muscles', so to speak.

Hate to say it but I think time has come to kill Carpenter. Dude is more likely than Thale to actually come after us. Just saying. Its probably going to be the hardest thing Team Blondie has done but I'm not sure how much longer we can let Carpenter roam around. He's putting Nil in people, building crazy scary robots, and he's got Many.

Yeah, after this setback to Thale's plans, now it's looking like Carpenter is the biggest current threat.

Do we have the energy left in us to produce any bone armor? Tomorrow we should try trading a bunch of those up and get some super bone armor.

Agreed, it has been a long day. Some R&R with friends, cats, ice cream, and maybe a pillow fort will do. It will also give Michelle to figure out all of what those new arms of hers can do

Carpenter's the next thing we absolutely need to get out of the way. We have the location Jury gave us, all we need now is a scout.

I think we should make a bunch of extra golems, and upgrade them in to a few mini Janes, and THEN trade them out to hopefully make a perfect decoy of ourselves. Just a thing to consider, for making future plans.

Carpenter's gotta go.

But seriously, Carpenter must die.
Thale can send us all the civilians in the lower tiers and some of the pólice and federals against us? Damn.
Carpenter can send giant robots and mutants that can destroy our minds with simply being near us, and find our base? DAMN THAT BASTARD!!!

This guy must die, but killing him ISN'T going to be Easy, Medium, or Hard. This is a damn Extra Boss. One of those that are designed to don't be fair XD.
If we want to take him down, we need to seriously study Magic. This guy REFUSES to accept Magic. Maybe he can accept gods, Blood, and things like that because he thinks he can gave a proper explanation for them. But Rituals and Magic is a big NO for him. If we use Magic, the he is the one preocupied because he doesn't know what we can do to him XD.

For now, Let's make Bone Armors and rest. Tomorrow let's take down the First floor of the Bunker X, and while we are at that, put Flinch to study Geoangular Control.

Carpenter is a bigger problem currently than Thale, but both are big problems.

Bunker X before Carpenter. We seriously lack the firepower to take Carpenter head-on. We lucked out with the Nil ritual as Carpenter was stupid enough to maneuver that spider tank right over it. That's not going to work a second time (also note the blinding trick doesn't work either: he had heat sensors to see through and just blasted the sheets with a laser).
We need something that can break through armor. I'm not even talking about Michelle's old gun. THAT couldn't break through some cobbled-together plating. Before we can hope to win against carpenter, we need something along the lines of an anti-tank weapon.

But that can all wait. We're tired and definitely need some downtime. Desert and time either with one of the actual cats or maybe just the plushies plus Mini-Jane (we could put on some sort of weird show with us handling the cat plushie and Mini-Jane handling the penguin plushie).

1. Tell everyone what you found out.

2. Clean up the ritual circles(unless someone else wants to trade something or petition for information themselves before doing so), we do not wanna risk Jury S coming in and seeing them.

Regarding 2, you make a good point. Might not be safe using rituals in a currently accessible bunker from (damn, what was the name of this city again?). As long as we can hide the evidence quick, we're good.

Re Time:
rest, relax, recover, recalculate, reconnect, reequip, regenerate, and reassess, in that order.

On the plate: PIE
Party: better computer, better armor, better guns, ALL the biopaste (Macland, Southden, etc.)
Intel: Lydia, Grizwald, Jury, and one unknown satellite with an apparently complex access key.
Mars mine, Fuse in Error with book, rat-scouted tunnels
Examination: funky cactus, mushroom, slime and blood interactions with them, Elizabeth, other rituals and EFT ghost resolution.

A few thoughts...

1: For now, yes, R&R. Despite success, today sucked. Time to recover.

2: I also agree that we should hit up Bunker X before hitting Carpenter. While he IS the big threat at the moment, we really aren't in any shape to handle that. Carpenter has his guard up against strategies we HAVEN'T come up with yet.

3:We need a training regiment to increase Janes control. Personally, I suggest either A: looking to martial arts and meditation training to find parallels to draw inspiration from, or B: asking the tradesmen if they know of a safe rite to let you ask your mother for some advice, despite being dead.

4: Just me being a geek here, but maybe y`all have some references to make as well. I think Thale's kinda like Sephiroth (powerful as hell, thinks he's smarter than he really is, mentally stable as rabid squirrel), and Carpenter is closer to Kefka (as trustworthy as pure poison, smart as all hell and he knows it, cocky as fuck, and never quite satisfied with what he has). Let me know what y'all think, we might find an attack angle in psychology. (I can dream.)

I agree with the comments here. We should relax now that the day's over. Tomorrow we should go do one of the bunker X stages now that we're tricked out with bone armor, a minigun, and Michelle's Space Arms™. Whatever rewards we get could help us get to Carpenter and take him out. Carpenter is probably pissed at us now, and he knows more of our tricks after we voided his robots. We should definitely take him out before he builds a new one to send with counter-measures.

pass along the news that jury arrested howler and his prison pals, and they aren't going to be an issue anymore. someone should step outside briefly and call cam, and see if she's okay. we can probably actually have some real downtime now that we've effectively gutshot thale's printer plan. also, ask fuse what lovers wanted in exchange for her help getting the computers.
