You send the raven at your house to scout the surrounding area. Further out, everything seems normal--you see cars and people, going about their business. However, the block or so around your home seems... oddly deserted. You try to have the raven subtly peek into a few windows, but you don't see anything of note; everything looks abandoned around your house. You send the raven back to Rockwell Arcade.

You inform Mom's red that you'll probably just wait for it to generate a Baby Red here in the bunker.

"I will begin working on it," replies the giant mouth on the wall.

Michelle, Zene, and Crease return. You all finagle the doors so Fuse can return, as well. Fuse and Michelle go to fetch the giant flatscreen that was procured a while back.

"Why'd we even grab this in tha first place?," Caius asks. "I already forgot."

"I believe we were intending to use it in conjunction with our cameras for small robot-related purposes," replies Dr. Finch. "...But we ended up linking the cameras to our resident computer anyway."

The TV gets setup in the lab, and everyone scatters to grab various blankets and pillows from wherever they can be found.

"Do we, uh," Crease starts, but hesitates. "Do we need to turn it so the... face... fellow can see it?"

"I do not have eyes," responds Mom's red. "It is of no concern."

"Speaking of which," adds Dr. Finch, "you may want to avoid focusing too intently in that general direction in the near future."

"S'bout to get weird over there," Caius chuckles.

Crease simply nods.

Once everyone's made themselves a comfortable sitting position, you all commence watching movies. You watch a buddy cop action/comedy, a generic sci-fi action film, and a martial arts movie with a really flimsy plot.

It's some time in the evening by the time you get done. You ask Mom's red how it's doing.

"The necessary mass has almost finished arriving," it states. "I should have what you requested soon."

Well, that was fast!

What are folks' opinions on the movies? Let's do some chatting while we wait for the bab red.

I’m glad we decided not to head to our house! Let’s save that for another day. Anyways, I though the baby Red would take longer, I’m glad it didn’t!
I guess we should go to sleep for now.

Next, introduce the new Baby Red to the fine people. Also give new Baby Red a flower, cause Baby Red Jr loves flowers.

I wish we asked Mom's Red if we were talking hours or days.

How will we get useful map data as an output of this experiment? The interface was lacking last time.

i say maybe just chat with everyone for a bit, general stuff, get to know more about each other for a bit. it's been a while (if at all, i can't really remember) that we've gotten a chance to do that. then get some sleep and take the new bby red to check out the weird door tomorrow.

"the... face... fellow" XDDD

I love that extra little panel we get to see of one of the movies we saw <3 'tis perfect :D

Seems like a time to stretch, grab some food/drink and chat idly. Or may not so idly, depending on whether any of those movies gave us some ideas -v- lol

Use the TV as a monitor for the computer.

Chat around a bit before going to bed then plan to deal with Blobby or maybe just assault Thale head on tommorow. Get explosives for dealing with Blobby.

"... It still don't solve the real problem, either--at best, the brain monster'd just make me blast y'all with a laser cannon."
Had to clip out some context but essentially: any weapon we get without a defense against the brain monster could result in us using said weapon against ourselves instead. Also remember this is a rescue mission, we need to try to get Zene's mom out alive.
A direct assault on the eccentric, rich being who's super paranoid/scared of us and has access to Zone 50 experiments like Edison, monsters/cyborgs from Carpenter, and possibly heavily armed guards somehow sounds even more suicidal than trying to deal with the brain monster.

We should ask Fuse what he found out about dividing up the big list from the PJs.

Also I thought of a better, safer idea for exploring the crate room: Have Fuse do a small, controlled burn on an edge of the crate. Once there's a big enough hole (and Fuse has put the fire out) we can use Willard to scout around. No big mess from breaking the crate; no chance of alerting someone with a loud noise; and if there are cameras, a rat running around will likely provoke little concern.
It might not be a bad idea to do that now when it's late and the crate room is likely unoccupied. We'll just make sure we only scout with Willard (pretty much just investigate the place and see if there are any cameras/monitoring devices) and then call it a day.

I'm still a bit worried that whatever spatial shenanigans were used to put the door in the crate might have unforeseen complications outside of a certain range. Maybe it would be safer to send a blood bot first, then a rat if it's safe.
