After some discussion, you agree to approach Zene's father, first.

"Might be easier to talk to 'em when he's gettin' off work," Michelle suggests. "We're already gonna be turnin' his life upside down, no reason to do it while he's still thinkin' about his job."

Zene considers it for a moment. "If we wait 'til his shift's over, we'd have... wait, what time is it?"

Fuse flashes his cell phone to Zene.

"Oh, cool," Zene responds. "He should be off work in a couple o' hours."

"We could just be there when he's about to leave, then," Caius says.

"We could be," Michelle states. "You still need to take it easy, Mister."

Caius sighs, but raises his hands, relenting. "Yeah, yeah. You guys could be there when tha dad's walkin' out."

"I've given it some thought," Dr. Finch says, "and I believe it may be best if Zene approaches his father personally... not us. We'll be there, certainly, but he'll be more inclined to listen to his son than to listen to a handful of strangers. If he is under Thale's influence, Thale will be less inclined to act out against Zene, as well."

"We could give Z a dart gun," Michelle suggests. "Just in case his dad does go crazy. We fill it with Blondie's blood... bam, done. It's pretty much instant if they ain't super radioactive. Wait, does Z know it's... uhhh... blood, right?"

"Fuse explained it," Zene replies, "kinda. I mean, he explained it, I'm jus' still... not gettin' it all."

"Shiiit," Caius says. "I been here for a while now, I still don't get it."

Dr. Finch nods, smiling slightly. "Don't feel too bad. I'm a genius, and I still only grasp the basic principles. There's a great deal of how, but not much in the way of why. I'm almost afraid of reaching the point where I understand it in its entirety."

"Well," Michelle begins, "if we got a couple of hours, that gives us time to do s'more goofin' around, I guess. We still gotta patch up them suits, and get Fuse's leg done. How long ya think a robot leg would take? My old boss was in the shop for like, four hours gettin' his, but they had to graft his to his spine an' stuff."

"I don't suspect it should take more than an hour or so," Dr. Finch says, "but I'm not all that familiar with the process, to be quite honest."

This update is fun XD Caius is so high it's hilarious <3

I think it'd be good for Fuse to check out those places we got details from online, let him choose which middle tier cybernetics dealer to hit up for his leg, and we can just go ahead and get that done. :D Caius can hang back with Dr. Finch as he patches up the suits, and the rest of us can head out, I think?

Guess we better blood up that dart gun while Fuse is checking out those places online.

I was going to say maybe we shouldn't have Fuse get his leg done just yet because he might need at least a bit of time to recover or get used to it, but then, thinking about how things tend to go to hell when we go out and do stuff and we end up really busy for a while, it's probably a better idea to go ahead and get that done, yeah.

If Zene's father is queened, I doubt Thale would hesitate very long - Zene being out of his control means the ol' nemesis effect will happen pretty quick.
Keep the blood reeeeal close.

Jane should definitely go along with Fuse when he gets his leg replaced. We should specifically ask for an explanation of ultraprex so that maybe we can duplicate the effects of that with blood abilities (if possible).

We should also keep an eye on the burger raven. Keep a lookout for any hooded figures that may be setting up an ambush for right when Zene's father leaves.

I'm pretty impartial to who does what beyond that.

I second all of this :)

I don’t think there’s much of a reason for us to try and replicate ultraplex, we’ve already got to deal with Caius’ post-surgery recovery and all. Unless it’s potentially dangerous, over the counter ultraplex should be fine. Let’s not wear ourselves out.

The knowledge would still be useful to have in case we need it further down the line, so if we can get some info from someone who knows a lot about it, that would save Finch some study time later.

We should be nearbye when Zene talks to his father, but out of sight.

Make sure to have Zene bring up the 'Patton Thale' tell and to know to stab/shoot Quickly if it goes off.

Ideas for a cyber leg enhancement, (depending on how advanced the tech Fuse can get a hold of currently is): jumping enhancement, blades, rocket kick, portable flamethrower, emp emitter, jet, communication/tracking properties and wheels.

We should have someone cover Zene with the dart gun, instead of relying on him to react fast and shoot his own dad. I would think Michelle could cover him nicely. Then Zene just need to run, if things go south. That aso results in him being less conspicuous, as he will be unarmed.

A speed/strength enhancement for the leg would be very cool!

Just be sure to browse the merchandise carefully before picking a leg, or Fuse'll end up like Adam here:

I think we should blood some pigeons and/or alley cats while we wait. It'll give us a chance to practice with the blooded tranq gun, and we need different animals anyways because people are starting to notice the ravens and we don't want Thale to get suspicious. A greater variety of animals will hopefully be less obvious, and pigeons and cats would look more natural in the lower-mid tiers.

Given pigeons are known as rats with wings, if we do blood a pigeon I'm totally calling it Willrus.
