You relay what you've learned to Michelle and Dr. Finch.

"That's... maybe good news, right?," Michelle asks. "Sounds like his dad's not on Queen yet, maybe, and we could get him alone--away from the kid's mom."

"Zene or his father may know a few things about the church, as well," Dr. Finch states. "This could be our in to get to Brother Hope. Hope isn't officially in a leadership position of the Enyo group, but has worked with their churches on occasion--likely as an ambassador between the financers and the cult. ...With Prophet having been the spokesman between the cult and the deep cult."

You ask Zene if he's ever met, or knows anything about, a Harold Hope.

"Mom's mentioned him a couple times," Zene says. "He's donated a lot to the House of Enyo, and done some charity work. I haven't met him, but I'm pretty sure Mom has."

You mention this to the others.

"If we can save his dad," Michelle starts, "...or hell, if we can get lucky and save both his parents, I'd feel a lot better than just sendin' the kid off into the country by himself."

"We could very likely catch the father while he's at work," Dr. Finch says. "Perhaps explain the situation to him... carefully. The mother being wrapped up in the cult of Enyo, and Hope, makes the possibility of reaching her far more complicated."

"Zene's dad might be under watch," Michelle adds. "Especially since we already got to Zene. This ain't a hard move to predict, and Thale might already be on it. Should we leave the kid on Mars for now, until we've at least gotten his dad out?"

"We have yet to bury Dr. Camp," Dr. Finch replies. "Which, I imagine, is but one on a long list of things that would make remaining alone in the Mars base a tad unnerving for a young man. We still need to acquire parts for space suits, and Fuse was planning to work on our security today--a task that could be comfortably accomplished from within this bunker. Perhaps Fuse could bring the boy here for the time being, and keep Zene company while we deal with other tasks. We could, perhaps, consider our options with Zene's father while we search for a cybernetics dealer, and finish up the space suits.

I feel that whether Zene flees the city, or stays and attempts to work with us... he should have a say in the matter, but perhaps that decision is better prolonged until after we see what we can accomplish on this front. His opinion may be very different if we can manage to wrest one or both of his parents from Thale's grasp--in the meantime, we should focus simply on keeping him out of harm's way. That... that is what I think, mileage may vary, of course."

Michelle nods. "With Fuse's leg messed up and Caius still recoverin'... whatever we decide to do today, we need to keep it loose. As fun as it might be to kick it old school with jus' the three of us, we ain't in a position to do any heavy hittin'."

Michelle is right, we shouldn't do any heavy hitting. Maybe we can just scope out some locations Zene can give us as to where the church of Enyo is with a raven, and do some recon while Finch looks for where to get space suit replacement parts with Caius. Michelle can eat ice cream and stay with us.

I am for Dr. Finch's plan, for Fuse to bring Zene into Bunker A to keep him company while he works on strengthening security and getting to know Zene better. We'll just explain that the thing with his parents is a bit of a curveball so we need a little more information and time before we can make an informed decision on what we should do for Zene. In the meantime, like Dr. Finch says, we can perhaps take a bit of a breather and think about how best to deal with his parents.

I'm going to suggest Dr. Finch, Michelle and Jane all head out together to look for a cybernetics dealer first (I'm still for voting somewhere around the middle tiers), and then procure parts for space suits together as well. I don't think we're in such a rush we need to split up to do it all at once. Caius shouldn't be going anywhere, so he can stay in and chill - and maybe even get to know Zene a bit, though I suppose he might just rant at him and get upset and er, smoke level, Caius, and chill XD;;

Before heading out, I think Jane should probably get into contact with Macland and/or Shirai and ask about the Dicer situation and whether it's possible Shirai could provide some intel and/or ins/outs into the most likely locations Dicers have been producing and distributing Crawl from. I'm not saying let's do the bust or whatever, I'm just suggesting Jane ask Shirai to look up info and pass it along to us later. We could pass that info along to Jury afterwards, or look into it ourselves at a more opportune time, but since most of the locations Dicers own are from Shirai's pocket, she'd be of a huge help on the intel front.

EDIT: I forgot to add... uh, maybe Jane should say hi to Zene in person? -v-?

I second all of this. Also, maybe try to prepare him for the mouth on the wall..
And make sure to blindfold him, when moving him to the other bunker, the magic door is really on a need to know basis.

Do we still have the raven and rat? We could use them to scope out Zene's dad's work. And I second the idea of letting Zene meet the voice in his head face-to-face.

He's going to walk past mom's red and jump out of his soul when it starts speaking. We should level him for that and related stuff as better we tell him now while things are quiet than have him have to run past and freak out later on.

There's a big little problem with Zene being in bunker A: Mom's Red. Unless we're going to encourage him to smoke Level, that's a very big pill to swallow.

That aside, we should ask if we can get addresses/locations and send ravens to Zene's home, the fast food joint is dad works at, and the church his mom works at. At the very least get them in position.

Otherwise let Fuse do his thing and let Caius chill (metaphorically, he should have cooled off by now and really should head back in). I do want to get the shopping done (at the very least for Fuse's leg) so let's do that.

I completely forgot about mom's red being something Zene would freak over XDD I'm just so used to xem!

I mean we could like... Put a curtain over the wall maybe... XDDD lolol

Obviously Zene is no stranger to drugs and Fuse was... kinda fine with mom's Red when he first met xem while on Level. Just as long as the matter is addressed before Zene sees mom's Red. Xe's quite pleasant if a little annoyingly vague once you get to know xem. Even Caius warmed up and he was expecting to freakout.
Speaking of, we should be careful we don't accidentally switch doors while he's trying to walk back inside. Caius doesn't need to see a bloody, Error room version of himself tossing him out.

I kinda forgot I didn't post this in the comments, so here it is - winter holiday themed fanart based on senpai's awesome Christmas sprites :D

Happy holidays~ <3 (I also posted this in Discord but this version I fixed Dr. Finch's height best I could XD)

Nicely done as always (and nice no-black-lines style).

Poor Jane; that's still not weather-appropriate wear, even with the addition of a jacket. I hope she's hot blooded. :3

Aww, thank you Blue_Elite :D <3 it's a style I use once in a while -w-*

And LOL, you know, that might be a skill we want to look into... XD
