Dr. Finch grabs some spare clothes to cover his normal attire, and borrows Fuse's beanie. He and Caius head toward the hospital to pick up Macland's medical information, taking Michelle's truck.

You, Michelle, and Fuse head to Bunker D to find a place for Edison's canister.

"I'm kinda leaning toward dumping it outside," Fuse says. "Just... drag it out the airlock. Bury it in sand or put a rock on it or something. Or find a hole to drop it in. It'd be one less nightmare hanging out in our Mars base."

"Yeah," Michelle replies, "but I dunno if I'd wanna risk the weather or whatever blowin' 'er open. Ghost girl could move through walls, right? Tossin' her outside might not keep her out... though, I dunno where we could put the canister. Definitely nowhere near the blood plant, that's just askin' for trouble."

You ask Fuse about his old friends.

"I had a few I guess, when I was younger," he replies. "Kids I hung out with in school... well, until we all started dropping out. It's kinda weird to think about--how different it was back then. We had no idea what life was really like. We were all gonna be astronauts, or firefighters or whatever... and then as we got older, we started to get how things really worked. One kid's brother got shot to death by the cops, anothers' dad got prison time for level. Meanwhile we were seeing celebrities and politicians on TV getting busted for worse, and they just got slaps on the wrists. Some of 'em even got reality show deals out of their rehab."

Fuse shakes his head. "Everybody started going their separate ways when we got old enough. It stopped being about skipping school and trying to meet girls, and started being about survival. Lock picking started as a hobby, then it was how I ate. Drugs went from fun to business. It felt like we all turned into adults overnight, and we just... stopped knowing each other. I was freaked out by what Howler turned into, but... I'm sure there's a couple of guys that knew me back in the day that'd be freaked out by what I became. Some of 'em are still probably... I dunno, trying to hold down real jobs, have families. Trying to claw their way out of the hole and have something more. The rest of us just lost that optimism, or had it taken from us."

Oh, Fuse. You precious boo. ;3;* It was a sad reflection, but definitely shows more of the roots of Fuse's bitterness. u_u Don't worry Fuse, we'll make sure your old childhood friends are safe from friggin' Shirai.

Maybe we should prop the canister against the wall, in one of the rooms. Like the mess hall, or the bunk room.

Edit: Ohhh how about the shower room?

Maybe put some sort of blood seal on Edison's canister lid - piece of tape on the seam, couple drops of blood, second tape over those.
Then Jane can either monitor its stability once in a while, or put an alert for its destruction if she needs to focus 100% on it.

We need an operations manual for this thing. Check the internet for old Z50 tech leaks.

I was planning on asking Jury for info on Edison once she was together again. Otherwise we'd have to look for ~100 year old info on secret projects that might never have been revealed to the public.

Poor Fuse :<

I'm tempted to suggest leaving Edison in the infinite loop room. Just on the floor of it. Open up the ceiling panel, slip it up there, close the panel, forget it exists. If Edison escapes, she can make friends with the entity on the other side of the door.

P.S. On the side, I'd like to suggest "Unity" for the new 0/12 Proto Jury. It's not an "inity" but considering she's made up of many other Proto Juries...

2nding Unity. It's the closest to a real name that's an accurate description and is only 1 letter off from the "inity" theme.
Unless, of course, someone can think up something better.

Omg. Unity is perfect.<333

Hi, stayed up all night to read this, found it on WEBTOON and the cake here! I agree, put the canister in the loop room, leave Edison to deal with that creepy monster thing ^_^! Doubt she can hear it though.

The only issue I have with leaving her in Bunker C is that Bunker C is on earth and therefore needs to have the scrambler constantly working, which is a bit of a pain. -v-a

The thought of Fuse as a firefighter amuses me. He did sorta get to be an astronaut though.

The problem with putting the canister in bunkers A, B or C is they're all (supposedly) locations on earth and so could be tracked, found, and recovered. Bunker D, being on Mars, likely won't be discovered; and even if it is, anyone searching for it will be hard pressed to retrieve it.

I was thinking we could put the canister by the airlock in the room on the left. That way it's near to the entrance so we can make sure Edison hasn't escaped, near to the airlock incase we do need to punt it for whatever reason, and is significantly far away from any plant life.
Also, let's get those spacesuits and bring them back to see if we can make 1 or more functional suits just in case.

Final thought is to check the blood-plant of the backdoor, JUST to make certain it isn't growing out (drawing blood from it might have stirred it to life again).
