You ask Michelle to see if she can fit in the vent, just in case. She's pretty skeptical already, but she makes an attempt at it anyway.

While she's trying that, you use the blood type checking device you picked up when you were scrounging up first aid materials. The device cycles through the various blood types, flashing wildly... before registering an error.

It doesn't seem to recognize your blood type.

Michelle turns back to you, shaking her head. "Nah, there's no way I could fit in there. I gotta turn sideways just to make it through doors sometimes."

That dude's out of reach, due to the vent closing up. No, it is time. we must go... INTO THE DARKNESS. Thankfully, we've a light.
