You explain to everyone what you saw at the school, and you explain that you are planning to head there to see if Jury's okay.

"I'm still sorta high," Fuse says, "but that's... probably better for what I do, anyway. Caius, though..."

Caius--who has, at some point, already lit up another level--shrugs. "How bad could it be? I can fight drunk, I can fight on drugs."

"Your heart will straight up explode," Michelle says, shaking her head. "It'd be dangerous to let you into a scrap hopped up on level."

You explain that there's a heavily locked back door, and a relatively unprotected front door.

"If any sorta traps got put in place, they'll be near the front door," Michelle says. "That makes the back door a safer entrance for us. But... if there's still any bad guys runnin' around and we come in through the back, that gives 'em an out through the front. If we go through the front door we could corner 'em."

"That's if there's anyone there," Fuse says, "and if they're planning to leave. We might be strolling into another ambush."

"True," Michelle replies, "but man... it's a weird place for an ambush. The warehouse didn't have windows or nothin', and it was more isolated. If this is a setup, they gotta be plottin' somethin' weird."

Can we have our blood deal with the level in Caius' bloodstream somehow? Metabolize it faster, counteract it like antibodies somehow, devour it?

I hate to split the party, but it might be good to have a couple folks go in from the front and couple from the back, and do a pincer kind of thing. If we can get Caius back down from his level high (although it seems like level makes you more... well, level, than high, really), we'd be able to do two teams of one large and one medium per team.

We could just have Caius guard the front door as well as be backup in case we get into trouble while everyone else takes the backdoor.
Honestly, I'd rather break the backdoor so we have 2 ways of escaping rather than try to trap anyone in there as history indicates we're the only ones who'll get trapped.

I'm honestly only expecting Carpenter-abominations and maybe a re-programed/brainwashed deranged Jury in that school. As such Caius would mainly just be keeping an eye on the car and maybe restrain crazy|Jury if she tries to flee.

The last time we had Level in our blood, we didn't actually try this, though we did have to deal with the problems of being active under its effects. I would say it's unlikely we can get rid of it immediately, but perhaps there's a way to ease up its usual problems the way we did once they happen (though it's noted it took some time)? Just thoughts based on what we've seen previously. -v-)/

We didn't really have time to sit and try to process it at that point, but we might have a bit of time to work it out now-- plus, we've been practicing focus and control and such, and that might make it possible now. If it'll take almost as long as letting it wear off naturally then obviously it's not worth it, but if we can figure out something to do relatively quickly and with relatively little energy, it's worth a shot.

We could go through the back and place a raven with a blood alarm at the front. If someone escapes through there, we could tell the raven to follow it while we head to one of the cars hidden nearby. It was mentioned earlier that there don't appear to be any vehicles nearby, so it should work.

Kinda disappointed the title isn't, "Prepare to get schooled."
It seemed elementary really. (I apologize for nothing!)

A textbook case of missing a chance for a pun.

Caius...... XD;;;;; *face palms*

I don't know, Caius on a Level high sounds mighty inconvenient XD; If we bring him with us, snatch that second Level he's lighting and put it out, silly bear. It should last anywhere between thirty minutes to two hours based on the last time he lit up, so if we head down and the school now and keep him on guard/backup, he might be able to get back to his normal state by the time we need him?

I think it's a bit unlikely it's an ambush, but it's probably still guarded to protect... whatever they're doing in there.

I'm all for having someone guard the front while we sneak in through the back. In our sneaky clothes. (Michelle bought us sneaky clothes, yes? Yes.) We could set up our blooded camera and have Dr. Finch watch the feed to help us out, too.

That Jury's phone isn't destroyed highly indicates this is an ambush.

I think the best-case scenario would be to actually AVOID looking for the phone specifically and instead search only for Jury. If we're never in the same room as the phone, then hopefully we won't spring the main trap.

It seems like a bit of an odd way of going about setting up an ambush, but doesn't hurt to be too careful I suppose.

"Go through the back cause it has a padlock on it."

That is horrible logic.
If I was gonna make a trap I'd make sure there was a viable path for whomever used the front door, and made sure the back door had the worst traps in the set.

Cause it only makes sense that people sneaking in are gonna use the door they think is unoccupied.

Heh Heh.

I'm also interested on how the layout of the inside of this school will be. As of now, we've only had doors on the baack side of a building relative to our view, if at all. So how are doors on the front side going to work?
Cause having a front and back entrance kind of demands this.
I mean, sure we had the door at the Creepy Hospital, but that was marked by a car having blown through the doorway.

Didn't Jane figure out how to counter the heart-exploding effects of level at the cost of effectiveness?
