You ask Caius to peek into the vent. Like most of the ventilation shafts in this bunker, the fan is spinning at a frantic rate; it seems to curve off somewhere beyond the blades, but you're not sure where to.

You also ask Caius to take a closer look at the wires. They do appear to be damaged--specifically, they appear to be burning through. Faulty wiring has likely lead to overheating, sparks, or small fires maybe. The wires might just be too old.

You also ask Michelle to swipe the card for Bunker D, reconnecting your door to the system. You're curious what happens if you open the door from this side while it's acting as a warp.

Michelle connects the door, and you open it from this side.


You are politely informed that you shouldn't be here, and it is suggested that you head back the way you arrived from. It's phrased, notably, exactly how you would have said it if your positions were reversed.

The curiosity burns, but we should probably do what mirror-Jane [edit: let's call her enaJ] says.

Unless she seems un-urgent enough that we can like, ask, "what" and see if she bothers answering or just asks us to leave more urgently

um. I guess. I don't really know what to do here.

don't ask questions. don't think to hard. heed the advice and leave. get caius back up the ladder and go back into the part of the base we're meant to be in. i, personally, don't want to fuck with any of what's going on here.

SecondFourth this. This is messing us up. And did we actually just leave Caius down there?? Please let's just go back, get Caius, and exit Bunker D while everything is still intact. ;_;

We might need to fix that wiring in the non-mirrored part of Bunker D, though. I *really* don't wanna know what would happen to the bunker system if the Mars base goes up in flames from an electrical fire.

Yeah, maybe we can do that later. Most likely Fuse would have to give it his best shot if it comes to it, since as Caius said, he isn't an electrician. Though even Fuse said he wasn't really an electrician, back when we first entered Bunker A and he took a look at the generators. We might need to ask a Proto-Jury to help us fix it, if it's something Fuse can't fix? Something to think about, for later.

...Is it bad the first thing I noticed was the reversed 'ERROR' and not the mirror-Jane that looks bloodied up with a faded flower.

anyways yeah let's. Let's just not go in there. Close up, get Caius to come back up and leave. While I am still curious about the blood-plants and we're probably gonna want to fix the wiring at some point... I'd say we've seen enough for the moment. ...Though, now I'm curious as to where the outside of bunker C'll lead to. But that can come later.

We completely dismissed the danger plants present since we've been surrounded by concrete since the beginning, but it should have been obvious there's no difference for red.

We need to start reconquering plantlife using Jane's Red before we come back here.

Guessing this is, well. A error room. If the portal doesn't know where to put you, I guess it drops you here.
Better that than being dumped somewhere at random.
Or several somewheres.

Error Jane aside, not terribly much to interact with here.

Is this... another Red ? They tend to first connect to Jane when she goes out of normal bounds (syncing, wrong portal... same thing ?)
Are these bunker portals using a Red's transdimensional abilities to connect to each other ?

- Z50 actually found a way to harness the enemy's Red after freezing the 'main body'. For some reason it complies with the electronics without wanting Jane dead. Unlikely.
- Z50 found another Mars Red, and it's less aggressive to Jane than the enemy's. Mom's ? Did they actually experiment on her when she was in their custody ?

It's super dangerous, but... should Jane give that avatar a few drops of her blood to drink ? There are so many ways it could go wrong, I don't even.

Also, whatever happens: abort, abort and bloody retreat. Jane goes back in the door. Caius goes back up after checking roughly how thick the wires should be so we can repair them soon-ish.

I'd be in favor of asking one quick, brief question of, "Any advice?" and then regardless of the answer leave immediately.

Mainly what I'm looking for is if maybe we should come back eventually at a much later date/time when we theoretically have more abilities/knowledge/connections to know what we're dealing with or if this is our one warning that if we come back, "rocks fall, everyone dies."
