You focus on trying to perceive through the bloody sheet that should still be in your room.
...And find nothing.
It's not just absent from your room, it's gone.
You start to panic a little, until you think back--you used it to blind that one Thale-controlled police officer, back when a couple of them came after you, Michelle, and Fuse--shortly before you met Mom's red for the very first time.
...And then Fuse took the bodies to be disposed of. Somewhere.
That... sheet might have gone with them.
But! The covers on top of the bed had some of your blood, as well, plus the bottom sheet, and the mattress. You start by focusing on the covers atop the bed...
...and discover that perceiving through them is a bit difficult. The blood has soaked in pretty thoroughly, so you're getting more of the inside of the decently thick comforter than you are anything outside it.
Alright. Third time's the charm. The fitted bottom sheet.
...You can sort of perceive through it, but it's mostly buried under a pillow and the comforter. This is becoming slightly less convenient than you'd anticipated.
Still, it's blood. You craft a blood bug in the red, give it wings and bug-like pigment so it'll look normal, and you open a portal to your bed. You pop the bug through, and have it scurry out into the open to have a look around.
...Oh, right. You could have just looked through the pillow, too.
Did Mom's Red grow extra security through the house, or is that a security camera of some kind...? Let's do our best to scuttle about as stealthily as possible while looking *very* much like a natural bug in case it can still see us, while also trying to determine what the heck it is.
We may not have to even get past this device. Now that I think of it, Mine has blooded the lock on the underground bunker door. That... probably would have been a better place to start. Oops.
So, next idea: perceive through that lock and see if the coast is clear over there. Then make a blood bug from THAT if it's safe.
It could still be a good idea to describe the gizmo on the ceiling to the others, to see if they know what kind of opposition to expect.
+1 to having a bloodbug come from the lock of the door leading to Mom's Red (The one only accessible via vent). I think that we should melt down the current bug. After all, we have know idea what kind of detection hardware is set up. There could be super sensitive pressure plates, or nigh-undetectable laser tripwires.
Quickly hide bug under the bed so camera won't spot you then make blood portal under the bed for easy access to more blood bugs.
Try to sneak to your parents room when camera looks in other direction and cautiously see for other spyaing equipment on the way to reds room.
P.S- I am realy greatfull to autor for creating this story becouse its hard to find masterpice like this. Ther is a lot of comics out ther but only few true pearls among them and if this is not one of them then I dont now what is. I also hope that isue from week ago is ok and you are fine.
Also for hiding the blood bug somewhere post-haste.
While it's hiding there, we could still try to perceive the camera through the pillow. That way we can safely describe it to the others without risking our bug being seen.
+1 to hiding the bug and not being seen. I don't think we should be getting into combat here, and alerting people that there's something interesting in the house is probably bad as well. There should be an an air register somewhere in the room if the house has central HVAC, which it probably does being an upper tier house. I doubt anyone would expect us to go through vents that small, so they shouldn't be guarded. From there we can check the other vents carefully until we find our parent's bedroom. Then we should probably pause and reassess.
Edit: There's actually a number of things we could do here to help our chances:
* Condense our bug into a much smaller form, like the size of an ant. It would still be able to move fairly fast and would be much harder to detect.
* +1 to aura jumps with our bug, as Skull suggested.
* Burrow into the walls. If our bug is small enough, we may be able to eat a tiny hole in the drywall that would blend in with the rest of the wall. We can even fill it in with toothpaste, or similar white bloodstuff after we go through.
Edit #2: Gigafreak brings up a good point, if we can use the blood in the lock downstairs to portal in more blood, we don't even have to do any of this.
I'm curious if we can get the blood bug to emit any of our aura, as I think stealth shenanigans with aura are still a good idea. Get it close to the door via the ceiling, emit enough aura that it goes at least a little through the door, generate blood over there out of camera range, stick it to a wall or cieling.
We should ask Mom's Red if anyone got inside the basement where it is. If not, we already blooded Mom's Red a little in the basement of that house (http://bloodismine.com/comics/169/). If we use that blood to blood portal inside the basement then we can avoid all the security cameras.
Edit: I heard that blood was consumed, so instead:
We could unlock the basement door with the blood in the lock then send the blood bug in, lock the door, and put a blood portal in the basement so we never have to do that again.
Seconding operation "use the blood in the door lock to complete the objective." Since we won't need it when we switch to the lock blood, I also recommend taking the current bug and melting it into a blood puddle for future use in a sneaky corner, such as in the closet/bathroom or behind the desk, for redundant sneaky back up plans and portals later.
As far a the camera is concerned, I think we should leave it; we know that the house is under surveillance, and assume it's our enemies. What ever else we could learn in the immediate, we don't want to risk letting them know that we have these sneaky infiltration techniques, nor that there is anything of note at the house. In short, use maximum sneak, minimum effort here.
Could Mom's Red form a blood portal (using itself) for us instead? Then we would not even have to open the door, which might look suspicious. I hope so, but maybe Mom's Red does not have as much control of the Red as Mine does I seem to remember that might be true.
This one is conditional, but if we absolutely /need/ to interact with that camera (if it is a camera at all, I'm putting my money on cieling lasers), we know Mine can channel electricity through The Blood.
We could always give it a little zap-zap, and see if it's being watched closely enough that someone would react to it being disabled. Since we are, after all, not really there.
We should ask Mom's Red if it can funnel some of our blood through its local entrance (in the bunker) over to the basement at our house and eject it there so that we can just make a portal straight into the room we're aiming for. We can work on defeating the rest of the security once we've reestablished a foothold in the house.
The whole point of the covert operation to our own house is that even though we can give Blood to Mom's red here in the bunker, it would need to travel all along the minute pathway from here to there over the course of days, which is too long for our purposes.
If you can channel electricity and feel auras, then you can combine the skills to scan electrical equipment. Feed the scan to your two experts, Fuse & Finch, and ask them about the specs, verbally. We've already expressed a fear of over syncing, and you aren't in the room, your in the bunker, right beside them. Hide the bug in the mean time, camo, location, size, whatever feels right just follow your instincts on that one.
To the latest comments ask moms red if she can transfer blobert(blod slime) thru her from bunker to hause. They are conected so is it posiblle to bload her thru the wall?

Addendum: Kumondo makes a good point up there.
