Caius retrieves the child-friendly sewing kit you bought while you were shopping out in Southden, and you make a tiny Blobbert. You explain that you can use it as a sort of portal, to easily move items in and out of Edison's containment chamber--that way, if you need to put something in there or take something out, get to her sooner, or if she just wants to talk, you can do it through this... uh... blood blob.
You begin to demonstrate your portal powers,
and promptly pass out on the floor.
Fwump.
You wake up in your bed in Bunker A, at... what you assume is some point the following day.
So we started off by consulting the Tradesmen for a bit, which consumes some stamina.
There was some meatcrafting and the power plant exploration-- with the emergency cage construction. (Mine also became a magical girl, but that part was not so exhausting.)
There was the clash with the Silkworm and its ghost-mass, followed by the pursuit into the Red dimension, which ended with two spacetime distortion tricks.
And now we just verbally de-escalated two conflicts-- one with the Silkworm, and one with Edison.
welp, following day, let's check on Edison and the Worm.
Or, before that, see if we can stand properly and stuff, it might just been exhaustion, but hey doesn't hurt to check
+1, definitely go see Edison and apologize for zonking out like that and make sure the ghost gals weren't worried. Then go see if Giga-Worm is ready to chat and see if it is ok with helping to power the town.
Welp. Check in on everyone, aplogize for worrying them (again) and ask if we didn't give the ghost girls too big a scare.
Also, somewhere in between ask Red if she knows why we passed out. It might've simply been extreme exhaustion, but it's safer to check.
Let's HOPE its the following day, and not the week after or some shenanigans like that... O__O
Check current status on staying upright upon our own two feet (if not, breakfast in bed!). Ask around about what day it is. And get breakfast. Possibly seconds and thirds, if we're hungry enough.
+1 to checking in on the three girls and our new worm-buddy.
Ooops! I guess we WERE kinda awake for... who knows how long >_>;;; Like, we legitimately have no idea how long we maintained consciousness for, because we were bending time...
Let's slowly and carefully get out of bed, do our morning toilette, and go get something to eat! Then we can check on Edison and get ready to go check on the Silkwyrm. Maybe we could debate possible names for the Silkwyrm over breakfast :D
Edit: Actually, if we could send a blood-message politely requesting someone to bring us something to eat and drink... it might be a good idea to get some nourishment into us BEFORE we even try to stand up. Since we have no idea how long we've gone without food and water.
Let's face it-- it would be a totally Mine thing to let herself get dehydrated while surrounded by blood.
We may have forgotten to eat or drink for the past several hours. As the fattest pigeon says, "Nests before eggs, which is to say let us partake of our food and then at once be about our business."
We're still under a deadline, so the best thing we can do is give ourselves more time. We should be able to do this with relative safety and ease by going into the red, perceiving outside of it, and changing the relative rate of time inside the red slowly until realspace was moving at about 1/16th speed from our frame of reference. This would avoid the main concern of leaving the red at the wrong time in relation to realspace, while still granting us the benefits of accelerated time. We could do eight hours of work in half an hour, come out to rest for eight and repeat, effectively turning one day into three. This makes the time needed to recover the limiting factor on how much we can do in one day, so if we can improve our recovery while sleeping, we could do even more.
The time guardians don't care what happens in the red as long as nothing exits it before it entered. Spending more time there, relatively speaking, won't cause any issues.
That said, Kumondo pointed out that we should have a planning meeting to discuss this on the discord, so I would vote we do that before any other large commitments.
Limits established. No combat scenarios when not at peak power performance and proper rest soonest after.
Next steps below:
Step 1 Rest and relaxation as nothing is life-threateningly pressing right now. Recover to full. Talk to Edison then the Wyrm (name idea Charon as it moves between the realms of the living and the dead and can dissolve, zap, or eat one to the other fairly quickly). Check in on everyone.
Step 2 Make a to do list, do an equipment/powers check.
Step 3 Brainstorm. Involve everyone possible.
Step 4 Prepare. First for another round of bunker X as that will give the most gain and unexpected edge against Carpentnil.
Step 5 Town. Build and fortify. Maybe pay a visit to Southden for supplies and related. Delegate as able. Blood vials and armor tattoos for everyone who wants them.
I agree that today as a whole should be low key, starting off with food and reintegrating with our little society. Check in with the various groups and individuals, then start a good solid planning session for the next day or so. On the whole, I think Mine specifically should only really be talking to folks, low key blood power experiments/practice, and otherwise delegating tasks to the rest of the group.
For the near future, I think we should be taking on Carpenter and surprises either tomorrow or the next day. I also like the idea of attempting the next level of Bunker X in between now and then.
We've been discussing the use of remote-controlled biomechs in the fight against Carpenter. I think these would also be how we would want to approach the rest of Bunker X, as there was no lower limit stated on the number of individuals that can enter.
We need to start thinking about making our move on Carpenter. We need to start training Mine's mind-y self at some point, and we can also work on getting any supplies we want from Iworth or the tradesmen ritual. I still think it might be useful to get the biggest dog we can get our hands on.
We should figure out what time/day it is.

Today has been a hell of a day, really.

We need the rest.
Check on the birds etc.

Then its planning time for dealing with the Carp.

Have it be accessible by bloodportal connected to just that room.
Wouldn't suggest doing that right now, but contemplating it and discussing with the others is recommended.

Specially check up on Red, and of course the ghost girls.
For now, there is work to be done.
