Throwing your inhibitions to the wind, you create a bone wand in the red. You create a pocket of blood inside it--like how you did with Caius's hammer--as well as a clot-like mass for the tip, allowing you to portal from the end of the wand.
You do an elaborate series of magical girl poses, culminating with the wand being launched from the blood on the floor. You almost fumble trying to snatch it out of the air, but you manage to catch it. Giving it a twirl and a final dramatic pose, you convert the very thinnest layer of the surface of your bone armor into a very pink skin. You... might have also hummed a tune to facilitate your transformation.
. . . . .
There's a very long pause.
Michelle is the first to speak.
"Oh my god."
"I'm going home," Fuse states, covering his mouth with his hand. "Not even back to the bunker, like, I'm going to walk back to my apartment."
"From Ilworth?," Michelle asks.
"Yeah," Fuse clarifies simply. "Just... just gonna hoof it right through the ocean."
Caius is laughing too hard to say anything coherent, physically leaning against the nearby power box to keep from doubling over.
You give your giant clot--which you are tentatively calling Blobbert--eyes, so you can see out of it better. Since Blobbert will be sloshing and rolling around quite a bit, you have to make the eyes on the inside with the blood, and just sort of... keep them stable.
You also add some miscellaneous tissue to fill in the rest of a face, for no particular reason.
"Blood science has gone too far," Michelle says, still fighting back her own laughter.
"We've lost our minds," Fuse mutters, looking aside and struggling to restrain a smirk. "We have lost our god damn minds."
"Why does--" Caius wheezes, barely able to get words out amidst his laughter. "Tha goofy face--! There ain't no-- jus'-- why?!"
You hug the clot, and send it on its way.
It has to squeeze a bit to fit through the door, but it manages.
This time, nothing unusual occurs. The lights in the hallway are on, but they don't flicker, and no ghosts manifest. You suspect that, if whatever caused the phenomenon last time can really detect electrical signatures... well, it may not be able to 'sense' your giant clot.
solid maybe on the cat ears, since this IS a rolling ball, so we should only do those if we figure out how to hop, but I think the tail would just get in the way. It's a super cute idea though!
actully it would work better if the blob has a sudo-skeleton it gives a bit more form but still bend easily and adds some strength. also lets modifications like the ears and tail much more stable since it could just connect to the sudo-skeleton and the skin can just move around the exposed parts
I laughed so much at this. Blobbert is about as kawaii as you can possibly get in a Lovecraftian-lite setting like this.
Don't really have anything else to add other than Mine probably needs to herself enter the bare minimum amount necessary into the room to begin communications.

Might as well try to make the slime hop, and I assume the action in itself may make the poor thing drip out more blood than usual. Also, it’s made of blood clots, so in order for it to properly do specific physical activities, we may need to add a few muscle fibers here and there, and I don’t know what that’ll do to the overall structure.
Hmmm, we might actually be able to make it hop by summoning small blasts of red-stuff underneath it, propelling it forward. That wouldn't be a bad way of moving it around, I think.
True, but I think even if we can do that, we might want to stick with just rolling around for now. we want as much blood around as possible to manipulate if we're gonna be taking on spider satan.
This is a comic of ancient magic, advanced technology, Lovecraftian horrors, the use of drugs, psychic mutations, dimensional bulshittery, gods of death, and the sentient beings in between. Also, hugs, so I guess I stopped taking this comic seriously a while ago.
To put it in perspective, remaining at full alert all day everyday is definitely not healthy. Having some fun when things are not critical is a great way to deal with that.
Plus I'd rather live in a world where the blood goddess responsible for its destruction cycle has that kind of outlook rather than a stick up her backside.
As the slime is scouting, let us use the blood wand to try and shoot out a sharp bone spike, to test if we can forcefully jettison objects out of the red with pressurized blood.
Good idea. And someone suggested yesterday a swarm of blood-levitating weapons would be a good idea.
I suggest, for later: We have mine practice making bone-missiles in different sizes, razor sharp knifes that have blood on one end so we can levitate them, then store them in the red. Once needed, we open a portal an shoot them at whatever needs more cuts and less blood in its body, like a glorious hailstorm of death.
… or shoot them one by one from our magical girl wand. I love this comic.
If we want to make Psychic Mutant Ghost Spider Satan notice Blobbert, he'll need to be electrified. We can turn him "invisible" again by removing the charge. Though as Twyll said, let's wait on this until we've explored more though.
It's the green hair. AND THEY ONLY GET TO BE MAGICAL GIRLS WHEN THEY HUM SONGS TOO. (also, we'll need new color schemes, and I don't know what we have beside brown, black, red. We should look into making pigments, it could even have practical purposes.)
As much as I want to continue playing around with stuff... let's move on now, yes.
I like Limrix's suggestion that we electrify Blobbert a bit to make him visible to Psychic Mutant Ghost Spider Satan. Maybe we should explore the area first, then once it's sufficiently explored, we can do that in order to lure Psychic Mutant Ghost Spider Satan out and get a good look at it.
If we can provide any kind of electrosensory organ for Blobbert, that might also be useful to have. I'm pretty sure some animals can sense electricity, but not sure if we know how to make that kind of sensor. Perhaps we need to give Blobbert some kind of fluffy antenna like a Moogle's bonbon, so we can sense if there's an area of electricity in the air by when the hairs get staticky?
I know that Rufi just makes the first chapter into Blood Is Drawn, but there needs to be the full sequence of this too.
Can someone make this animated?
Ghosts have been waiting for us for a long time, slowly being eaten by something. We show up and do this.
like....
I wonder if they're reconisdering this whole prophecy thing, at least until we solve their problems using extreme blood rockets.
Hmmm. We're in the universe, which means our blood is in the universe, so using the fact that we currently are the remaining sane species that is omnipotent, we could probably manipulate anything. Earth avatar powers, forcing the air itself to crush things, etc.
Maybe not stronk enough to do that now though
We can break the universe, so might as well break it in a way that benefits us, and then generally, benefits a bunch of other people while annoying Thale.
I've spent the last few days re-reading this, so I don't know if anyone will see this comment; but I just spent about 5 minutes laughing and nearly crying at this page. This is the best.
Can it change it's facial expressions?
Wait, focus. Explore with Blobbert.
Check the first door while proceeding for the second, web-free door.

Mostly just want to go full generic enemy slime, but the mobility might be useful/good practice.

Unlimited Bloodworks?
this is it. this is the best damn update. Morg has peaked and no amount of drama, shock, or feels will be able to beat this single update.
Wizards, not even once.
yet.

That FACE! XD
I regret nothing.
With Mine: This.

Fear the Cosmic God, the First Womb! Mahou Shoujo Mine Magica!!!
Next time, we need to make a cute and frilly dress of flesh XD.
