Author Notes:
In the meantime, though... you also don't see any reason why your Red shouldn't be able to do something similar. She does have a ghost body now, right...? It should be basically the same thing.
Probably.
"We've sort of already proven we can," Red points out. "You gave me clean clothes and a flower in your head. I still have those in this form. I don't know if I can change me yet, but you definitely can... and you can make things in your headspace. ...As long as you think they're supposed to be there. We just need to work on getting you to own stuff outside your mind the way you do things inside--make yourself understand that other mental planes aren't any different than your brain room.
Look, last time you had to go to your imaginary closet and find me an outfit--just skip that part. You only did it because you thought you had to. We're still, uh, wired together or however it works. Just... have me be in different clothes. Just make it happen."
You concentrate.
She's right, you've done this before. It was just... in your room, in your mind, and you didn't know the rules back then. You treated it like it was actually your room, with all the things it should normally contain.
You did it without even thinking about it.
Nothing's stopping you from doing that here, now--changing a mental manifestation because you think you should be able to.
You know you should be able to.
You concentrate.
After several seconds of focusing, you change Red's clothes.

"...Not especially creative, but it's a start," she says with a smirk. "You just have to keep that same outlook. I'm just a thing your brain made. Well, I guess I'm a person now, but you get what I mean. Your ghost form's the same way--it's just your mental picture of you. You made a perfect copy of your stupid cat plushie in your mindscape, you should be able to do a lot more than that."
You do notice--as the initial rush wears down--that your hairs are standing on end, rising up as though you have collected a bunch of static.

While Fuse watches the front entrance, Caius and Michelle peek through the open door in front of the web mass.
As Caius steps into the long hall, the lights sputter and buzz... and then flicker on.
"Huh," comments Caius. "Tha lights came on."
"Maybe they got motion detectors...?," Michelle offers.
Fuse tightens his grip on his pistol, but keeps watching the front. "Guys, that's not good."
"What?," Michelle asks, glancing back to Fuse. "Somethin' happen?"
"No, I mean the lights," Fuse replies. "This place has been abandoned forever, and the wiring's five kinds of fucked. There's no good reason for the lights to still work. Also, motion detectors? Really?"
"Look," Michelle chuckles dryly, "I'm jus' throwin' it out there. What's the other explanation we got? Somethin's turnin' on the lights, tryin' to lure us in? ...Yeah, it's prob'ly that. Spiders are workin' the lights somehow. Dammit."
"We're freakin' out for no reason," Caius says. "You guys, I mean. I'm hella calm. The fuggen calmest. It's tha... tha electric stuff, right? Tha ghost bunker was doin' this, too, me an' tha Doc were super tense over nothin'. We were gettin' tha heeby jeebies last night, too."
"Yeah, but," Fuse shakes his head, "any lingering EM fields should've dispersed by now, I think. Dude, it's been a long time since this place was active. It shouldn't be hitting us like this unless, like... maybe we've got ghosts."
Michelle manages to balance her minigun between one hand and her knee while she unzips the bag on Caius's shoulder, and checks the ghost gun.
"We got... somethin'," Michelle finally concludes. "The gun ain't readin' it as all that strong, though. There's somethin', but whatever it is, it ain't right on top of us just yet."
"But somethin's been here, then," Caius replies. "Might be ghosts leavin' their... uh, ghostness all over tha place."
"Yeah," Michelle affirms with a grin, and a stifled giggle. "Their ghostness."
"Guys." Fuse gives a long pause, and takes a deep breath. "Do spiders have ghosts?"
Michelle starts to reply,
but Caius gets there first. "Fuse, shut tha hell up."
It might really be safer if we explored the power plant with a mini golem first
Mini golems away!
I think we should check out that big ripped wall section, and maybe heat up Cauis' machete with fuse's pyrokinesis and use it to cut the web kinda safely. like a hot knife though . . . well spiderwebs.
you're not making things better
Also, awww, but I liked the nurse outfit on red. D:
power station team: Carefully examine that severely damaged section of wall.
cat plushie: Ignore Red's comment. You're not stupid.
Mine can do this.
Edit: no, Red can do this with help from Mine.
What I mean is to test our ability to change and revert things in this state of mind.
We could also try making Red upside down, with the idea that it's normal for her to stand on the ceiling.
Power station team: examine the damaged wall and have Michelle keep an eye on the ghost gun. If there is a way around the webbing in the middle of the hall check the next door and the water heater(?) next.
That's gonna give me nightmares...
Proceed with the Ghost Gun ready for Action.
...And let's hope we don't need it.
Anyway, it seems Mine is charging up a bit too close to Dr. Finch. Let's avoid shock hazards and keep grounding in the Red.
Spooky lights are spooky, investigate the wired cylinder Without touching that webbing if possible.
While having Dr. Finch keep an eye on your electrical field, give Red another outfit change to bone armor to see if it takes and whether that static was anything to be concerned about.
Also, make some kind of grounding so we don't hurt Finch in the static.
