The three of you briefly discuss a few more options.

You consider cutting the power; however, the EMF coils are built into the walls, and rooted in the buildings above and below you. There are some devices that could strip a sizable radius of its power, but nothing you have on hand. You could call the police, but Dr. Finch can attest to how well that works. Eventually, the monster problem will be bad enough that better equipped forces have to respond... but you're not sure how much more powerful the monster will be before that point, or how much destruction it will cause before it catches someone's attention.

Michelle pries the elevator doors open. You suspect, at first, that controlling the elevator would be too hard--they weight over a ton, at the very least. But... they already have mechanisms in place for supporting the elevator's weight. You wouldn't be manipulating the entire elevator, just forcing it do what it normally does with the configuration provided. You believe you might be able to move the elevator with your blood... but it will still take a lot of blood.

Use the utility ladder inside the elevator every standard lifting system has one or two built in.

Should work, assuming whatever's controlling the building doesn't use the elevator to swat the party off said ladder like bugs. I think the party needs to go back and raid those vending machines for sodas and snacks before we try using blood on the elevator. Just in case.

Or, once you get the doors open, Michelle can shoot out the pulley system. If the elevator's above you, don't enter the shaft. If the elevator is at the basement level, you could then climb up the utility ladder.

It feels like Jane's technically immortal: murdered a month ago, got better (memory aside), got crushed/exploded on the way back to work, got better (memory aside)...
I guess the only way to kill her would be destroying her body and all the blood it holds.
... Suddenly wielding a jury-rigged flamethrower doesn't sound so good.

Peer up the elevator's shaft to how far it is. Someone with a pair of eyes to evaluate depth better. Or maybe Jane's bandaged eye has healed since her check-in?
