You ask Fuse if he can light the monster's brain on fire.
"Not just the brain," he says. "I... kind of suck at targeting parts. If I light it on fire, it'll be the whole thing, and Caius--"
Michelle drops the minigun and charges forward. Between her AND Caius, they begin to slide the monster backward. It continues to struggle, making a pretty impressive fight of it considering who it's battling against... but after a few seconds of back and forth, Caius and Michelle shove the monster back into the meat wall.
The creature's spikes pierce the wall, acid pouring out... but the monster's large enough to block it all with its own body, shielding Caius and Michelle. The monster roars from the mouth in its gut, instinctively relinquishing its grip on Caius--he and Michelle move back, quickly, before the thrashing of the beast can tag them.
It starts to--even in its pain--pry itself off the meat wall. Its an uphill battle, both because its own spikes are embedded, and because the rib-like protrusions of the wall are trying to cage the beast. Michelle, Caius and Fuse all draw their handguns and start unloading into the monster's brain before it can fully recover.
It finally slumps over, succumbing to the acid and the headshots.
Something... starts to squeeze its way out of the brain, wiggling free from between the folds. Michelle aims her pistol down and immediately shoots that thing, as well, before picking her minigun back up.
well if it's not dead, then it should be in immense pain right now, and I'm not sure we want to deal with that. If it IS dead, then we couldn't exactly move it enough to use it as a scout.
it wasn't the monster's brain pushing stuff out, it was whatever was inside the monster's brain. *points up, slightly* "Something... starts to squeeze its way out of the brain, wiggling free from between the folds."
Check if the monster in the other room is really dead. We should in either case be able to move its limbs. With luck we can take the eye on the wall out with it.
Carefully proceed into the next room, if we caould not take it out with our monster shoot your needlegun. The flying needle can be controlled to fly directly into the eye.
It took some charge up for the eye to fire its laser.. I think we should blood it from around the corner, and examine how it works on an in depth level so that we can replicate it in the red eventually.
If the blood stays in this time, we should convert the materials from the eye into something benign and useless to ensure it won’t harm us. Aka with the giant meat guy.
Depending on its field of vision, we may need to see if the eye can be distracted. Maybe throw a meatball (or even a roughly human-shaped meat mass) into its line of sight and be prepared to shoot syringes or bullets at the eye if it is successfully distracted.
We could probably just horde up a bunch of syringes and send them in all at once. The syringe gun replenishes its supply, somehow. We could just stop the syringes mid-air and move them all at once when we get a sufficient amount.
Toss a meatball into the laser eye room - does the eye respond to anything moving, or does it actually aim at living targets?
Check on our spinewhip friend - can we repair it? If so, try to get it out of the laser eye room and into this room again (provided we can do so safely), then fix it up. We need all the help we can get.
See if Jane can still perceive through Vertebro. If she can, make a plan with Fuse to shoot a syringe at the eye and have him follow up immediately with a quick shot of fire if the eye blasts the syringe (then duck back behind the door of course).
If not, time to make a sacrificial meat golem and use that to either perceive or be shot and then syringe/Fuse follow-up.
Also check on everyone (fatigue might be a factor) and then check on Caius and his armour. Do the Vertebro thing first as that as a time limit (i.e. dying). Otherwise if it's already dead, team checkup and then expendable meat soldier plan.
We need to learn Red weaponization in the future. Remember that gore cannon from the hospital. Turn Jane's arm inside out and just spray Red as hard as we can. Or instead of these meatballs we keep tossing consult with Michelle and Finch to design an organic explosive fill it with bone shards and make Red frag grenades. We are seriously lacking in offensive capabilites without our tube meat.
Maybe we can examine what's left of the monster blooded, it's structure and composition. Those bulletproof, spine like appendages would definitely be useful if we cou learn to recreate them for ourself.
First, let's try to Blood the giant Monster and the creature that came out of it's brain. Even if they are dead, maybe we can learn something usefull investigating their bodies with our Blood.
After that, Blood the Giant Eye. To do it without risk, we can simply use a Golem for that, or even Blooded bandages XD.

Also pray to MORGENSTREN.
