You have your monster continue to thrash, trying to tear into the bigger creature's brain more with what little it has left. ...Which isn't much, your bone whip monster mostly just doing death throes at this point.
From the door, you start firing needles at the offending monster. Two quick syringes hit the clawed creature's surface--but don't get to its bloodstream. You hit pure muscle and bone, and without a link to the brain, it would take a lot of blood to get control. As you squeeze the trigger to fire a needle directly at the exposed brain, you catch a glimpse of something... odd.
The monster can't seem to dig the jagged bone from its own brain with its claws--yet the bone is forced out. Forced out. Your needle hits the brain immediately after... and is similarly pushed out before it can inject its payload. Physically pushed out of the brain. You don't see anything at work--it's almost like something shoved it out from the inside.
The monster grabs what's left of your bone creature and casually chucks it backward, ripping it from the ceiling. Your monster's brain still has some activity, but you can't get it to move.
The large monster lumbers forward, beginning to squeeze through the door. You back up, and tell everyone what's going on.
"S'got bone spikes and muscle so thick a needle ain't gettin' through," Michelle says. "I can start shootin', but I dunno how much good it'll do."
"We don't have to kill it, right?," Fuse asks. "We just have to get past it."
The monster reaches forward... and sinks its claws into the floor, tensing for a leap.
"Fuuuck... that!," Caius yells, charging forward.
"Caius!" "No!" Michelle and Fuse shout after him, but he lunges, grabbing onto the monster. It's insane, but it does stop the creature from leaping straight into all of you--it instead turns its attention to Caius. It throws its huge arms around him, Caius's armor luckily keeping the spikes from dealing him any serious harm... for the moment. Caius and the monster have each other in a bear hug, and you can hear bone starting to crack--you can't tell if it's the creature's, the armor, or both.
Push it backwards into the acid wall - see if the wall's still hostile towards anything that gets too close or touches it, or if it reacts in a different way that helps us out. If we don't get an immediate reaction from the wall, or if it proves to be too hefty to force back, then it's time for our heavy weapons specialist to get to work: have Michelle aim her minigun at that thing's brain and turn on the bullet hose. I have faith in her aim - if anybody can keep that thing steady, it's Michelle.
Focus on Caius' strength and fighting ability, and pull up all that experience we got from the battle with the Painiac. Attempt to push the monster into the acid wall.
As an aside, in case I'm not around when we get to dealing with the eye: Build a bone spike in the red and shoot it out of the dead monster brain and into the eye, and/or move the bones inside the monster into the eyeball like Thale did to that one cultist and also us a couple of times
Level Fuse and have him light the brain on fire. If the monster is able to put it out, see if he can keep lighting it on fire.
We need to hit the acid wall behind the monster. If Michelle is not confident enough with the big gun, use the pistol to start poking holes. The higher the better to try to hit that exposed brain. Alternatively, if Michelle doesn't think she can get a good angle, she can help Caius try and bullrush the monster INTO the acid wall.
Jane should focus on boosting Caius/giving him painkiller and all that (Michelle too if she joins him). If possible while doing that, Jane can also use the syringe-gun to make more precision pokes into the acid wall.
Reinforce Caius's bones, although I suspect if we're hearing the cracking, it's the armor and not anything inside him or the monster. If the gun's too low of caliber, could Michelle help fight it? Maybe they could pin it together, start twisting limbs off?
Michelle's got genetically-engineered arms from the Tradesmen, right? If "shoot the acid wall" doesn't help, and if her back and legs aren't strong enough to help push the monster into the wall, maybe she can at least use her arms to pry the monster's arms off Caius and deny it leverage on him.
The monster was gonna charge everyone, including Caius(and also squishier people like Jane and Fuze). I think charging into the monster might've been a good call.
Quick theory: What if this is what the Bioprinter in the hospital would have ultimately made for itself if left unchecked? The monster does look distinctly different but...
I think this might be the monster that was pinned to the break room door by the car.

Similar height and shape (though turned towards the camera rather than the usual profile pose), and even the same exposed brain.
...Do we happen to have another car handy to throw at this one?
Push it into the acid wall if possible. Since that bone armor is technically part of us, see if we can extrude and strengthen it on the fly to protect Caius from as much pokey/acid damage as possible.
Send Michelle to team with Caius to make this damn Monster embrace the Acid Wall XD. With the Spikes in his back, this embrace is going to be VERY Deep and special XD.
Let Fuse envelope in Fire the Brain of this thing. Even as tough as it is, with his brain in fire I don't think this thing is going to be at his 100% XD.
And Jane must put her all in boosting Caius and Michelles. Tougher bones, Unlock the restraint in the muscles, heal their injuries, a Rush of adrenaline, etc.
Maybe Michelle can shoot the wall behind it so it's sprayed from behind with acid while Caius tanks.
this seems eerily similar to the cage match Caius had in England. Except with maybe less room to move, I suppose.
SET THE BRAIN ON FIRE

Can you use the red at point blank to try and reinforce Caius's armor?
Maybe we could trick the monster into charging into one of the acid walls?
It would explain why damage seems to be repaired.
When we encounter it here, it is going to have a Vore-Cannon or an Acid-Cannon.
