You lead Crease back to the bunker lab (carefully, as he's easily distracted on cleantex). You start searching the internet, trying to get a picture of Brother Hope to find out if that's who Crease saw at the church. While you search, you ask him if he remembers what the conversation was about.

"Something about funding..." Crease answers. "They quieted down when I got close. The lady and the portly fellow were thanking the masked guy for his help with the church, I think my wife was just along for it because she's there so much. They didn't come out and say it, but they were implying the church would keep getting money if it kept cooperating... the masked guy didn't seem real happy about it."

You find a picture of Brother Hope. He doesn't look noticeably overweight--however, you also find a picture of him with a couple of other older men in suits. You point the picture out to Crease.

"Yeah!," Crease exclaims, nodding at the larger gentleman in the picture. "That's the guy! He was dressed like he lived in the lowers, but... he was bad at faking it."

"Crease," Fuse starts, putting a hand on his shoulder, "you're a nicer guy than I am. That dude's not overweight, that dude's massive."

Dr. Finch heaves a small sigh. "Please, I would like to think we're above mocking others for their weight. Even if they are associates of Hope's, we are not that petty."

"Yeah," Caius says, then chuckles as he squints at the screen. "Besides, I'm way more into makin' fun o' that guy on tha left. How old is that cat? Looks like he's already dead and they forgot to tell 'em. Also, tha fat one's got tha fakest tan I've ever seen, looks like it came out of a cereal box."

Dr. Finch sinks his face into one hand, and Michelle just shakes her head.

Nothing around the picture mentions the names of the other two with Hope--however, you recall Shirai mentioning Hope's deacons. It's very likely that the older man and larger man flanking Brother Hope in the picture are members of his deacon board. Hope may have sent his deacons to the various outlets of the Church of Enyo in lieu of showing up himself, at least most of the time--though you know Hope himself appeared there at least once.

You ask Crease if he remembers anything else about the layout. He shakes his head.

"Not much to tell," he says. "Front door leads to a lobby... door on the left side of the lobby heads to the main church place. Sanctuary? The sanctuary. Wow, I really am remembering things. Anyway, there's... pews, framed papers on the walls, and another door at the back, near where I guess the preaching happens. I didn't get to see anything past the sanctuary, and they barely let me in there. Most of the charity handout stuff they do gets done from the lobby. Guy with the breather and goggles didn't like me looking around too much."

You check on Willard and the cat. They're not that far from the destination, so you watch them get closer before setting up the facade. You have the cat drag Willard into the open before having Willard fight back--not hard, just enough to be convincing. It's not a difficult sell, as Willard's a pretty big rodent. You get the cat to act frustrated and run off, while Willard is left in front of the church.

Go Willard *^* I’m rooting for you! I’d wait until someone opens the door, then slip in. Either that or find a vent to go in. The ones on the ground should be big enough I hope. ;-; be careful!

Yay, good job babies! *Jane sends mental hugs*

Alright, looks like we have two perfectly rat-sized grates to enter right here. Convenient! Willard, take the one on the left. Carefully!

Inform everyone that Team Whiskers has made it to the destination so they know your attention isn't going to be in the bunker.

See where that lower grate leads to. It'd be nice to have an easy way in/out that doesn't rely on being able to get through that door (for Willard of course).

Also if we have any cat snax(TM) Mocha deserves a reward (we can give them once we're done scouting).

I thought we wanted an alternate enterance, not the front.

I am on board with 'Mocha'

Could we learn something about these writings on the walls? I would hate a magic sensory system for Red all around the church... or something worse.

Those are the emblem of the Church of Enyo-- we've seen it before in other Enyo-related areas (like Howler's secret room). It's basically just labeling the building as a church, I think. If it had any sort of magic behind it, presumably it would be altered somewhat.

Check the left grate (just because it's closer).

I support naming the cat Mocha too.
