Fuse lights the monster on fire. It screeches as it bursts into flames, skin beginning to sloth off its bones. Fuse tries to focus on the tendrils, in particular, but they're moving too rapidly.

...Which the creature promptly demonstrates the purpose for. It swings back, whipping one of its thinner limbs. The bone popping sounds occurs far more loudly, and simultaneously, as the tendril snaps hard enough to dislocate every joint therein. Skin strains and muscle uncoils as the tendril lashes outward, physically stretching, the needle point shooting across the room and into Michelle's arm.

The monster twists and burrows the needle, Michelle wincing as the creature gets hold of her upper arm. It attempts to drag her back toward it, reeling in its limb to force Michelle into its now flaming body.

However

Michelle is quite a bit stronger than that one tendril. She stands her ground, switching to using the shotgun with just one hand. She starts focusing on the "mouth," where the tissue seems to be the thinnest--steadily cutting its head off of its body. The creature is goopy, in a way, and with each blast that tears flesh away, more flesh seems to pour into its place.

Fuse switches to the tranq gun, firing at the monster's eyes--the more traditional skin parts might just be covering bone. His aim is... not great, but he manages to get one to connect, the rest hitting "the goop." He switches gears to trying to light the eyes on fire, but they're much smaller targets, and somewhat subsumed by the whole--it feels very different, mentally, than targeting just a tire or just a shower curtain. Fuse has trouble managing it without getting much closer.

The monster gurgles, and wheezes--the tranquilizers may be affecting it, or the flames may be inhibiting its ability to breathe. Michelle's making progress on shotgunning through it. However, the monster continues to drag itself forward, its free tendrils whipping about wildly. While Michelle isn't getting pulled any closer, she's still having trouble getting the needle pulled completely out of her arm.

Uh... Do we have a machete with us? Probably not, but if I'm wrong try to use it to cut through the tendril holding Michelle.
Otherwise, can Fuse light it on fire since that particular tendril's not moving much?

Can Michelle shoot the tendril halfway between her and the creature and sever it that way? Maybe even angle it so she can shoot the beast in the face as she does so?

grab michelle and pull! grab michelle and pull!! get the needle out of her arm, allow for better maneuvering.

michelle, aim for the tendrils. a shotgun blast should make tidy work of most of the connecting tissue. if nothing else, you'll make them shorter.

Fuse probably shouldn't exert himself like that on level-- he might give himself a heart attack. Better to try to burn through the one tendril holding Michelle, now that it's staying still enough that he might be able to target it.

Also, Fuse should stay back, because the thing has more tendrils. And if it manages to get a tendril into Fuse, he's gonna be dragged a lot faster than Michelle.

If we burn the tendril on Michelle, won't it travel up to Michelle? ;; Bit worried since it's mostly bone and may not burn so easily.

The hand sanitiser is next to Goopy now, and I think it's treading the remains of the door. Can we set those things on fire instead, since its eyes are a tough target?

So everyone seems to agree on getting Goopy's needle out of Michelle, but I'm more concerned about why it has NEEDLES. This is obviously a Thale Thing, and Thale (or whatever is left of that personality, at any rate) has to know we're immune to StQ. So: what did it just drug Michelle with, and how much attention can Jane spare to remove it? Maybe Cam would be willing to help with the diagnosis and treatment.

Shoot the tendril and back up. Luckily if there ever was a place to get stabbed a hospital is it.

Pew Pew.
We may need to get a few dissolving solutions from the cleaning cabinets ready.
Giant eyes and gaping mouths make for great acidic targets.
