Morgenstern
You try to recall if you saw anything like this in Macland's mindscape, but you're drawing a blank. You only saw images of his basement, not... this.

You inspect the teeth.

There's still ... tissue attached to one of them. You take a deep breath

and a closer look.

The gum looks cut, but not evenly. It's jagged, and forced. You conclude that these teeth weren't knocked out, but instead cut or pried out somehow.

You feel your hair rise slightly, as if imbued with static.

Check in on Fuse. We are a nurse and an eldritch blood god, we're probably better than him with gore. We don't want him freaking out, if this is getting to him.

Fuse is on Level at the moment, so he's probably okay. Can't guarantee he won't get nightmares of this stuff but... he also doesn't actually seem to be looking at it as closely as we are right now, since he's watching our back?

Hmmmm... I'd say something about torture again but now that I think about it removing someone's teeth like this generally prevents them from answering questions. Far more likely that a corpse was made to disappear.... there any plastic bags laying around? Trashbags I mean.

While listening for knocking, pattern BZZT sounds from the light, and footsteps at all times proceed forward. Something, or several somethings are here and at least one of them is wounded.

Let everyone know the pleasant find of gummy bloody teeth likely pried out of the mouth of someone who's probably also missing an eyeball. Maybe.

And I guess check to see what's causing the sudden hair-raising feeling? I mean, besides the chills from these terrifying discoveries. :'D Is something shifting in the atmosphere?

We can probably spare the details and just say it appears someone was maimed. I doubt "missing an eye and teeth" is going to be the full laundry list we're going to find.

Certainly we can alert the others there may be a killer lurking about and stay on high alert.

Torture and interrogation? Pulled out teeth and blood everywhere...

I am SUPER concerned about this static thing. There seems to be... some kind of electricity ghost? Maybe somebody is using some kind of cloaking technology that produces a strong electric field of some kind?

Our blood is basically neurons, which means that it can communicate using electricity, right? Does that mean that we can develop some kind of electricity-sense? Because that'd be super useful right about now.

Does the sensation go away if we move back to where we were or is it just the situation getting to us?

If we're getting distracted we may want to put a blood alarm on that eye sentry we've got (thus removing the one currently on Macland). I'd like to specify ANY THING THAT'S NOT A DOOR MOVING but I don't know how specific we can be with those alarms.

If the static feeling turns out to be nothing special, nothing left to do but move forward. We still gotta push our way to the front so we can establish a connection with Caius & Co.
Speaking of them, is that camera set up yet?

What. Why would someone cut out something's teeth, grab an eyeball, drag their bloody hand across the wall to deposit the eyeball in a plant?

Something crazy is going on here, as in, people/robots being weird/malfunctioning. There might be STQs around, or since Jury's on the case, an escaped robot. Or Jury went insane, though that seems unlikely. We didn't seem to notice if the eyeball was STQed or radioactive, but it seems likely. Teeth, though. Can't blood those easy, and even then, not very useful.

You know, it's possible we could grow some extra rods and cones in our eyeballs (or bioprint some) so that we could see UV and infrared and the like. Would help stop ambushes in these places and also invisible men.
