You listen carefully at the door.

You don't hear anything.

You unlock the door and step through it.

Oooh are those tables with chairs? Can we take any back with us?? XD (edit: looking at them again, they look fixed to the floor -v- nvm) and what's that, an oven? And is the sink working?

So many new things XD <3 I was half expecting this place to just connect back to the entrance hall, I'm glad I was wrong!

This must have been a small dining corner. Teensy tinsey eating corner.

We should collect a ton of daisies for everyone

there’s a sink and a stove! this place has a whole mess hall! if only it had one more bunk, we could move our operation over here! we should keep exploring and see what other rooms we can find, maybe there will be more beds somewhere?

We really need to figure out a way of going between the bunkers more conveniently, or at least blocking prying eyes from seeing us enter and exit a door that doesn't go anywhere. Maybe park a truck in front of it? Put a construction area sort of thing in front of it with fences and tarp?

I could so imagine one of my Chlorophyte characters from the book I'm writing hiding in the ceiling vegetation here, with a bunch of daisies in one hand.

Every time Jane looks one way, she'd swoop down and plop another daisy in Jane's hair, to see how long it would take Jane to realize she's wearing a flower garden.

Swoop, plop, swoop, plop, swoop, plop!

...To be honest, this is reminding me very heavily of a certain Fallout Vault...can't remember the Vault #, but I do hope there aren't any overgrown animals also roaming around/trapped behind a door we inadvertently unlock.

Anyways. Check first behind the broken glass window, before going through the doors (after checking that sink's cupboard and...stove? Oven? Thing? to the sink's right)

I do hope one of these doors leads back to somewhere where our buddies are, if only because having the party split for multiple panels is starting to scare me XD

it’s almost like a fuckin pavlovian response now, isn’t it? the feeling of dread, i mean. the same thing happened to me when i realized michelle was out on her own the entire time we were farting around with the bunkers this morning.

Maybe we could use our blood alarm for this, when we're not like, using it for anything else? Set it to alert Jane when someone is in danger and such.

Yeah, and I have years as both a DM and a player of tabletop games backing up the Pavlovian "oh god the party is split, everything is terrible" response too, so it's gotten... rather severe.

Let's make a habit of very, *very* frequently checking in with our cohorts, and updating everyone with what rooms connect to what.

While we continue exploring, I think we should ask Caius to check out the other door back in the tube room. I have a hunch. While he does that, let's look into the middle door here.
