Morgenstern
You send your rat through the first door, halfway down the hall.

"A RoDENT," one says. Her voice has an uneven pitch, audio peaking at times, like a broken speaker.

The other one turns to look at your rat, responding to her twin. "POSSIBLE EVIDENCE OF BREACH-EACH-EACH, THIS ONE WILL COMMENCE INVEST-EST-IGATION OF W-WALLS." She walks out of the room, marching right past your rat.

They look... almost like Jury.

But not quite.

Their faces are too symmetrical. The surface of their skin doesn't quite look human, and age has started to form subtle cracks in it. The way they walk is stiff, abrupt... off putting.

"THIS ONE'S DaTA SUGGESTS THAT RODENTS ARE PRONE TO CHEWING WIRES AND CAUSING OTHER ASSORTED DAMAGE TO PROPeRTY. DO NOT ENGAGE IN SIMILAR BEHAVIOR WITHIN THE CONFINES OF ZONE FIFTY SITE SEVENTEEN OR YOU WILL BE TERMINATED. THIS WILL BE YOuR ONLY WARNING. THANK YOU FOR YOUR COoPERATION."

Well, that explains how the facility is still up and running.

We probably don't want to terminate them considering they know how to keep the facility functioning and we don't.

Still, if we want to interact with them we should probably fine something to convince them we were employees at the facility.

Oh... Hi... um... I don't think these two are 100% here... well guys, any suggestions on how to initiate conversation with the Proto Jurys?

Now that I think about it... maybe when we get our rat back, we can send it back in with a message, offering to help repair these two if they need it? In any case, I think we could use our connections to Jury as an advantage. We should try and become allies to the twins... but I do NOT want to get involved with their mess if possible.

We should include in the note that we don't chew wires
Or damage things

Ohhhhhhhh boy XD;;;;; I guess we should have seen this one coming...

Uh... well, so long as we don't chew wires, we'll be okay, I guess? Yeesh.

Uhhhh... I hope us entering the bunker like we did didn't count as a 'breach' in the way they're thinking >____>a yikes.

Uh, maybe we should follow the one that marched right out, to see where it's going. *whimper*

Well, hell. Makes sense that there's still functioning robots. Seems like no one thought to keep them maintained, though. Or maybe they just expected them to not be as long-lasting. Curious. Either way, we'll be sure not to chew through wires. If that's all, then we'll just... check the other room out.

Yeah... Okay I think we need to talk to Jury now about any kind of validation these units may require if a human steps foot in the facility.

So... there isn't a breach, which is good, but these guys seem interested in only Z50 regulations. It'll be best if we had a keycard of some sort of other identification with us to make them think we're Z50. Otherwise, they might terminate us. Or ask us to leave as a warning. Or, maybe, since there's no breach, they might automatically think we're supposed to be there. That is, if their brains aren't rotted through that much.
