You remove the sheet.

Beneath it is a massive picture of Macland Row and Patton Thale.

Hello! Looks like we got something. Wonder what the picture is about?

This is too easy.

THIS IS TOO EASY, MORGENSTERN. I REFUSE TO SUCCUMB TO YOUR FALSE SENSE OF SECURITY

That said, could you please describe this picture and, uh, is it just me or is this room starting to disintegrate just like the other hell room was? Look at those cracks in the pillar and doorframe. Pretty sure that wasn't there before. EDIT: Went back and checked and yep, 100% wasn't there before AND the room is darkening. We are about to enter real hell, peoples.

I think we're going to have to brace ourselves for things starting to fall apart pretty rapidly, in short order. Try to get back to the room we came from, assuming we can exit from there, but something tells me we're not going to be able to get back so easily.

uhhhhh... this room is starting to fall apart like the office was! it was a lot brighter and whiter in here a minute ago. something is causing these mindscapes to crumble. the fact that this portrait is the largest and was also covered and tucked away might indicate that this is a connection macland regrets, resents, or wants to forget, which would make sense if thale is TH. his "friend" has become some kind of mind-controlling horror show and is trying to tear the entire city apart. and to be honest, from what we've seen elsewhere with the other pictures and the news clipping, it seems like macland might actually care about the city. it could be that he's regretting his involvement in this mess, or that it's begun to spiral out of control. he's losing what hold he had on shirai, and possibly carpenter (if he had any hold on that psycho to begin with). his "kingdom" is crumbling around him. i mean, if he had a plan and he thought things were going to be fine, why did he drink himself into a coma last night?

That's... that's deep, Mochi. Dang. Gives a new perspective on Mackey, that's for sure. Though he's still a first-class prat, it does give us some insight into him.

or it could be whatever defenses Carpenter put inside him.

This is also very likely. The defense mechanisms triggered in Michelle's mind only after we'd actually seen the very thing she was hiding.

Now that we've uncovered the thing we wanted to discover, it's about time we're about to get attacked by something hostile. And judging from Carpenter's so very pleasant demeanor, I would say we can absolutely not look forward to whatever he planted in there.

Sigh. Here we go.

We need to try to check the computers one more time before we leave, if we can.
