You ask Fuse and Michelle about a guy named Macland. Fuse and Michelle look at each other, as if expecting the other to answer... before Fuse calls Dr. Finch. You peek in on Dr. Finch to hear his side of the phone conversation.

"Macland? Surely you don't mean Macland Row, do you?! He's the CEO of... dear me, he's the CEO of Row Dynamics. They're a supplier for many devices and medications to the upper tiers, but they've steadily been pushing into the middle tiers, as well. The plummeting stock of Tobu Robotics would benefit him perfectly--it cuts one of his major competitors out of the mix.

He's also incredibly powerful, financially speaking. He has ties to a number of the city's biggest players."

You and Fuse also inform Dr. Finch and Michelle about the scarred bodyguard.

You send the rat back into the torture room, trying to feel for unusual drafts. Toward the far end of the room, past the chair, the rat does get a strange sensation on its whiskers--it seems there is a hidden door in the wall. However, it seems like it's made to be opened from the outside, not the inside--letting this room function as a holding cell as much as a torture chamber. Getting it open would require great strength. Fuse confirms that the cameras don't show any basement level rooms besides the security office... which means there's a hallway, maybe an entire network of hallways, running below the surface level of the club and at some point connecting to the torture room.

Can we find a picture or description of Macland Row so we know whether or not he's the one we're after?

Hmmm, I guess we'll have to look for ways into the basement level from some other part of the club, then. Maybe we can watch the security guards and see where they go and how they get there, if we combine what we can see via the rat and the cameras.

If worse comes to worst, we might be able to kludge together some kind of door-opening device with blood and some other material to hold it, that we can slide into the door and then inflate with blood to force the door open. A kind of blood-wedge.

Also, if Mac isn't the same guy as our initial target, he would still make an excellent replacement target should we need one.
