You--carefully--hover your bug over to the dead body.
At first glance, it looks like his head just... kind of exploded. On closer examination, though, there's a bit more to the story. It's... hard to tell under his suit, but his torso is slightly more... inward than it should be. It looks like his chest may have been caved in, maybe broken ribs, though it's hard to tell from a casual examination.
It looks like he was partly crushed, with his head taking the most of it.
Further, some of the blood streaks look like they might lead outside entirely, as though someone were dragged out through the bay door. You... think there were two guards down here, at some point, but not anymore.
You check the door on the left side, sneaking your bug underneath it.
It looks like a pretty normal janitor's closet, as far as your experience with janitor's closets goes.
This looks nothing like a janitor's closet! Where's the big ol' vat of pesticide? Those vents don't look like they needlessly lead to a break room and are way, way too small.
I'm sure any other details besides those are unimportant to the definition and description of a janitor's closet.
So many vents. So, if we're gonna take Jury, she may be able to go througb the vents unharmed. If she could find what was electrifying them and disable it, sneaking gets a lot easier. This itself is easier if we could tell her where to go. Explore these vents?
Dunno if it would be a good idea, but wouldn't be surprised if we could just get some insulated clothing or something if we just want to get through the vents without being shocked.
You mean like "Bug stores item in the Red, Bug schlorps to nearest egg, Bug retrieves item from Red?"
That might work, but at Jane's current skill level, only if the bug was bigger than the item in question (currently she can only stick things into the Red that would fit in her body, after all). We could grow the bug and then maybe it could work!
See if the bug is strong enough to open the cabinet on the left! Also see if there is anything unusual about the stuff on the shelves (or inside the cabinet for that matter)
Alright, I think we're all done at Hope's church. I feel like we should set a blood alarm for either Hope or Thale. I'm thinking Hope is just gonna taunt Grizwald and spout nonsense so I'm thinking we should put it on Thale. Either if he speaks or, if it turns out he and the secretary keep talking about unimportant things, just if he passes by the bug (either because he's leaving the room or because someone else has come in or called for him).
So laundry list of things to do based on past suggestions:
-Test out blood-porting (so many plans hinge on it working flawlessly).
-Test out creating poisons/toxins.
-See about making attack bugs/swarm of attack bugs.
-Trading rituals (ammo, translator, Mr. Lumpys(?), etc.).
-Update Jury? (this whole thing seems out of her league now but who knows)
Jury originally offered to just straight up join our break-in crew for saving grizwald - no strike team or paperwork. Having a robot cop along could potentially be very useful.... I would think shes strong, fast, agile and durable, at least.
If we can get rid of the big monster quick enough, she might be able to draw attention away from Grizwald just by politely ringing the doorbell. If we can get them to move Grizwald, and then blood any guards on him before they explode, and *then* pull the trigger on the mega-monster, it might work out.
Remember, he won't kill Grizwald until he absolutely has to. he knows we won't abandon him, so if Grizwald gets killed before we show up, Thale knows he's lost his shot at killing us since there's no point in going there if G is dead.
Maybe we can try using this room as an easy access point to the huge tentacled creature. Jane can prep everything out of sight, then start blooding it as they get Grizwald out of there for best interference/diversion.
Leave an "Egg" here, and try each of the vents. Let's make an insulating layer on the bug first, so it doesn't have any chance of burning up or getting electrocuted.
Bug upgrade suggestion: How hard is it to levitate a single drop of blood? If we can levitate a drop (or skin-flake) just big enough to hold a pinhole into the red, we can keep the mass of the sensory organs in the red by using a pinhole-camera effect. For audio, all it would take is a few hairs to sense vibrations. This may navigate the vents easier and be stealthier, as it's literally just another fleck of dust in the air.
While yes on the camera and yes on the hypo spray there are few locations that offer access to the bloodstream via that shallow of an injection. It would take time to have control... far from useless though.
Also, to kill the mega-monster, would it be dangerous to pull it into our red and crush it there? (W/bone spikes, etc.) Just slowly grow a pool of blood under it; it probably won't notice. When big enough, let it fall it, and then it's cut off from Thale. You can use the red to crush it, chew it, or even just blood it - if it's cut off from Thale, you may be able to take it over (and learn Thale's monster-building tricks, or save it on a leash to spit out of the red at a useful time. )
CMD:
> Craft a flamethrower from the Old Vacuum, Empty Mop Bucket, and Random Household Chemicals
I'm sure any other details besides those are unimportant to the definition and description of a janitor's closet.
Drain cleaner + aluminum = heat + hydrogen gas
Any of these chemicals + eyes = loads of pain
Gee, I seem to be falling short on my janitors closet chemistry.
